Teramind Pricing (2026): Plans, Per-Seat Prices and What 10, 50 or 100 Users Cost

Teramind sells three self-serve plans priced per seat: Starter at $15, UAM at $30 and DLP at $35 per seat per month when billed monthly, with a 5-seat minimum. Billed annually, you pay for 11 months a year, which the pricing page shows as $14, $28 and $32 per seat per month. An Enterprise & Government plan is priced by quote (Teramind pricing, checked September 30, 2026).

This guide covers what each plan includes, how seats, billing and deployment work, what costs extra, and what Teramind costs for 10, 50 and 100 users next to Intelogos. Everything about Teramind here comes from its pricing page and knowledge base, checked September 30, 2026. Prices are in US dollars, before tax.

Prices and plan descriptions from the Teramind pricing page, checked September 30, 2026. The page rounds annual prices to the dollar; the exact figures are in parentheses.

The price per seat is the same from 5 to 100 seats. The pricing page's seat selector goes up to 100 seats and asks larger teams, 200 seats or more, to contact sales. Teramind's knowledge base says quantity discounts are available for more than 250 licenses (How is Teramind licensed?, checked September 30, 2026).

How Teramind's pricing works

  • Per seat, with a 5-seat minimum. Starter, UAM and DLP are sold on monthly or annual subscriptions with a 5-seat minimum. Licensing is per user: each unique monitored user takes one license (How is Teramind licensed?, checked September 30, 2026). With the Stealth Agent on computers that aren't in an Active Directory domain, the same person signing in to two computers can count as two users (How does user-based licensing work?, checked September 30, 2026).
  • Monthly billing is charged each month and can be canceled at any time.
  • Annual billing includes one month free, so you pay for 11 months, and it is paid upfront and non-refundable (What is the difference between annual and monthly subscriptions?, checked September 30, 2026). The pricing page labels this "Save 8%".
  • Changing seats. Licenses added mid-term are charged at a prorated rate. Downgrades, such as fewer licenses or a move from DLP to UAM, take effect at your next renewal date (How can I update my subscription?, checked September 30, 2026).
  • More users than licenses. Teramind doesn't charge overage fees. Once every license is in use, users who connect later aren't monitored until a license frees up (Understanding license limits, checked September 30, 2026).
  • Support and updates. The subscription includes the software license, technical support and software updates, and 24/7 support by live chat, in-app tickets and email is free. An Enterprise SLA is available to eligible customers (How is Teramind licensed? and What kind of support SLA do you provide?, checked September 30, 2026).
  • Payment. Subscriptions bought in the Teramind dashboard are paid by credit card. Bank transfer, or a check for US annual plans, is arranged through sales (What payment options do you accept?, checked September 30, 2026).

What each Teramind plan includes

Teramind's plans differ mainly in how much activity they record and what they can do with it. From the plan comparison on the pricing page (checked September 30, 2026):

  • Starter includes screen recording and live view, optional audio recording, remote control, website and application tracking, instant messaging, social media and search tracking, time tracking, activity blocking, insider threat detection, productivity analysis and reporting, and a customizable BI dashboard, with limited forensics and behavior rules.
  • UAM adds keystroke logging, monitoring of email, file transfers, online meetings, printing, console commands, camera use and geolocation, anomaly detection and dynamic risk scoring, unlimited behavior rules, SIEM integration, and controls for employees' use of AI tools, such as recording AI conversations.
  • DLP adds clipboard monitoring, content-based rules, sensitive content detection and redaction, automatic blocking of data leaks and 200 pre-packaged DLP rules.
  • Enterprise & Government adds OCR of on-screen text, capture of custom fields in websites and apps, in-app parsing for fraud detection, premium support with an SLA, tailored deployment assistance and professional services, and availability in AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.

Teramind also markets AI features: OMNI, which surfaces insights such as insider risk scores and predictive insights, and Timmy, a co-pilot that answers questions about Teramind data in Slack (both checked September 30, 2026). The pricing page doesn't say which plans include them.

The Teramind agent runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, with fewer features on Mac and Linux (Teramind Agent specifications and supported platforms, checked September 30, 2026).

Deployment options: cloud, on-premises and private cloud

Teramind can run in its own cloud or on infrastructure you manage (What is the difference between Teramind Cloud, Teramind On-Premises and Teramind Private Cloud?, checked September 30, 2026):

Sources: the deployment comparison above, Where is my data hosted?, How do I get started? and What is your data retention policy?, all checked September 30, 2026.

Two things to know before choosing a self-hosted option. First, Teramind NextGen, the newer version of its platform, isn't yet available for On-Premises or Private Cloud, so self-hosted customers use Teramind Legacy (How do I get started?). Second, the pricing page lists one set of prices and no separate self-hosted rates, so ask Teramind for a quote if you plan to host it yourself.

If you host Teramind, you also provide the storage for screen recordings. Teramind estimates up to 1 GB per user per 8-hour workday for low-activity office work, and several gigabytes a day on active, high-resolution screens (How much storage do I need for screen recordings?, checked September 30, 2026). By that estimate, 50 people doing low-activity office work could produce up to about 1 TB of recordings in a 20-workday month.

Add-ons and costs outside the plan price

Teramind's pricing page doesn't list paid add-ons, but its knowledge base mentions a few things arranged separately, with no published prices:

  • Compliance Bundle. An optional add-on that extends Teramind Cloud retention from 6 to 12 months for video and audio, and from 18 to 24 months for activity data. You request it through your Customer Success Manager (What is your data retention policy?, checked September 30, 2026).
  • Field-Level Blackout. Hides specific fields, such as customer IDs, in screen recordings. It is a custom implementation arranged through your Customer Success Manager or sales (Does Teramind support screenshot redaction?, checked September 30, 2026). Blacking out whole apps and websites you exclude from monitoring is built in.
  • White-glove onboarding. For medium to large enterprises, Teramind offers a personalized deployment and onboarding service that typically takes 1 to 4 weeks (How do I get started?, checked September 30, 2026). Tailored deployment assistance and professional services are listed on the Enterprise & Government plan.
  • Self-hosting. On-Premises and Private Cloud customers run their own servers, storage and backups, as described above.

Teramind free trial

  • No free plan, but a free trial. The pricing page lists no free plan. The trial sign-up page says no credit card is required (Teramind free trial, checked September 30, 2026).
  • What the trial includes. A trial instance gets the DLP package, with all standard Teramind features, and the dashboard shows when the trial expires (My Account (Cloud), checked September 30, 2026). Teramind doesn't publish the trial length on its pricing or sign-up pages.
  • Trial limits. Trial licenses are capped at 5 users per account, though Teramind may extend that for special cases (How is Teramind licensed?, Teramind Legacy knowledge base, checked September 30, 2026). Trial accounts can use the Standard Agent but not the Stealth Agent, which is available only to vetted customers (What are the differences between the Revealed, Stealth and Standard Agents?, checked September 30, 2026).

What Teramind costs for 10, 50 and 100 users

The smallest subscription Teramind sells, 5 seats of Starter, costs $75 a month billed monthly or $825 a year billed annually.

Teramind vs Intelogos: first-year cost

Intelogos has two plans with published prices, priced per license per month: Analytics at $8 billed yearly or $10 billed monthly, and AI Intelligence at $12 billed yearly or $15 billed monthly. Enterprise pricing is custom, and yearly billing saves 20% (Intelogos pricing).

Teramind UAMAnnual$3,300$16,500$33,000
Teramind UAMMonthly$3,600$18,000$36,000

First-year cost before tax. Intelogos prices from intelogos.com/pricing; Teramind prices from the Teramind pricing page, checked September 30, 2026. Teramind DLP costs more than UAM; see the table above.

What the numbers show:

  • Intelogos Analytics costs less than every Teramind plan, at every team size and on either billing option. For 50 users it's $4,800 a year billed yearly, against $8,250 for Teramind Starter billed annually.
  • Intelogos AI Intelligence billed yearly costs less than Teramind Starter, whichever way Starter is billed: $7,200 a year for 50 users, against $8,250 or $9,000.
  • Billed monthly, AI Intelligence and Teramind Starter cost the same: $15 per user per month, or $9,000 a year for 50 users.
  • Teramind comes out cheaper in one case: Starter billed annually against AI Intelligence billed monthly. For 50 users that's $8,250 against $9,000, and for 10 users $1,650 against $1,800. If you want AI Intelligence, yearly billing is what brings it below Starter.

The closest like-for-like pairing is Intelogos against Teramind Starter: both track apps, websites and time and report on productivity. They still aren't the same product. Starter includes screen recording, which Intelogos doesn't capture on any plan, while Intelogos AI Intelligence includes Ask AI, AI Performance Summaries and AI Coaching Recommendations. If you need keystroke logging or email monitoring, only Teramind UAM and above offer them; Intelogos captures neither.

What Teramind collects that Intelogos doesn't

The bigger difference between the two is the data. Teramind is built to record activity in detail and act on it. Intelogos records which tools and windows were used, when and how actively, and turns that into KPIs and AI reports. Its privacy policy says it does not capture screenshots, screen recordings, keystroke content, mouse click content, webcam images, audio recordings or the content displayed on screen.

Teramind can also act on what it sees. Every plan includes remote control of the computer and activity blocking, and the DLP plan adds automatic blocking of data leaks. Intelogos plans don't include blocking, remote control or data loss prevention; they report on activity.

Both offer a visible and a hidden agent. Teramind's Revealed Agent is visible and users start monitoring themselves, while its Stealth Agent, for vetted customers, runs with no user interface (agent differences, checked September 30, 2026). Intelogos's desktop agent is visible and users can start and stop it, while its background agent runs without a visible interface and is deployed by admins (Understanding agents).

Window titles and URLs, which Intelogos does record, can still contain sensitive details such as email subject lines or search queries.

Which one fits your team?

  • Choose Teramind UAM or DLP if you need insider-risk investigations, keystroke and email monitoring, data loss prevention or a self-hosted deployment. Intelogos plans don't include these.
  • Choose Intelogos if you want productivity KPIs, a Chronicle of every app and window used, and AI performance reports without screen recording or keystroke logging, at $8 to $12 per license per month billed yearly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Teramind cost?

Teramind costs $15 per seat per month for Starter, $30 for UAM and $35 for DLP when billed monthly. Billed annually, you pay for 11 months a year, which the pricing page shows as $14, $28 and $32 per seat per month. Starter, UAM and DLP have a 5-seat minimum, and Enterprise & Government pricing is custom (Teramind pricing, checked September 30, 2026).

Is there a free Teramind plan or trial?

There's no free plan on Teramind's pricing page, but there is a free trial with no credit card required. A trial instance includes the DLP package, and trial licenses are capped at 5 users per account unless Teramind extends them. Teramind doesn't publish the trial length on its pricing or sign-up pages (Teramind free trial, My Account (Cloud) and How is Teramind licensed?, checked September 30, 2026).

Does Teramind have a minimum number of seats?

Yes. Starter, UAM and DLP all require at least 5 seats, on monthly or annual billing, so the smallest subscription is 5 Starter seats at $75 a month or $825 a year (How is Teramind licensed?, checked September 30, 2026).

Does Teramind offer monthly billing?

Yes. Monthly plans are billed each month and can be canceled at any time. Annual plans include one month free, are paid upfront and are non-refundable (What is the difference between annual and monthly subscriptions?, checked September 30, 2026).

Does Teramind take screenshots?

Teramind records the screen as video and offers a live view on every plan, with optional audio recording. You can exclude apps and websites, which Teramind then blacks out in recordings (Teramind pricing and screenshot redaction, checked September 30, 2026). Intelogos doesn't capture screenshots or screen recordings on any plan.

Is Teramind cheaper than ActivTrak?

It depends on the plan. ActivTrak's plans cost $10, $15, $17 and $21 per worker per month, billed annually only, and it has a free plan for up to 3 workers (ActivTrak pricing, checked September 30, 2026). Teramind Starter, at $13.75 per seat per month billed annually, costs more than ActivTrak's entry plan and less than its other three. The plans collect different data: Teramind includes screen recording on every plan, while ActivTrak sells screenshots through its Screen Details add-on. For more, see our ActivTrak pricing guide.

Is Teramind cheaper than Intelogos?

Usually not. Intelogos Analytics costs $8 per license per month billed yearly ($10 billed monthly), less than any Teramind plan, and AI Intelligence costs $12 billed yearly, less than Teramind Starter billed annually. Billed monthly, AI Intelligence and Teramind Starter both cost $15. The exception is Teramind Starter billed annually against AI Intelligence billed monthly: $8,250 against $9,000 a year for 50 users. The two tools collect different data, so compare what you need before comparing price.

Can you host Teramind yourself?

Yes. Besides Teramind Cloud, you can run Teramind On-Premises as a virtual appliance on VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix AHV, or as Private Cloud in your own AWS or Azure environment, all licensed per user. Teramind NextGen isn't yet available for self-hosted deployments, so those run Teramind Legacy (Teramind knowledge base, checked September 30, 2026).
